Identifiers, Archiving and Indexing
Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Policy
JAPED assigns DOIs to all published articles via CrossRef. DOIs provide permanent, globally resolvable links to published content and are required for reliable citation and indexing.
|
DOI Requirement for References The inclusion of a DOI for all cited works — where a DOI exists — is a mandatory condition for publication at JAPED, effective from the current issue onward. Authors must verify that all DOIs are active and formatted as full hyperlinks (https://doi.org/XXXXXXXXXX) before submission. Manuscripts with incomplete DOI records will be returned for correction prior to peer review. |
Archiving and Long-Term Preservation
■ Portico: all content published in JAPED is archived by Portico, providing permanent dark-archive preservation against journal discontinuation or content loss.
■ EBSCO: JAPED is indexed by EBSCO, making its content discoverable through EBSCO's global database infrastructure.
■ AJOL: JAPED is registered with African Journals Online (AJOL), the continent's primary open-access journal platform.
